• Purchase data: gem purchases, vendor names, photos, notes, and show records you enter
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
• Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address (for security)

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the CrystalHaul service
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• Improve the product using anonymized, aggregated analytics
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Service providers: infrastructure (Render, Neon), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery — only as needed to operate the service
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Cookies

We use localStorage (not third-party cookies) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@crystalhaul.com. You may also export your data using the CSV export feature.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices: passwords are hashed with bcrypt, data is transmitted over HTTPS, and database credentials are never exposed to user-facing code.

8. Children

CrystalHaul is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance.
